Modern portraits in my natural light studio are a collaboration- we work together to design a session!  Wardrobe consultation, hair and make up, and style direction results in a session custom tailored to deliver a collection of images that you feel is truly you. I cherish the opportunity to work with families, expecting and new mothers, professionals looking to update profiles, and high school grads.

Natural light portraits look modern and fresh. Make up is available, please ask! With more than 10 years of experience as a professional make up artist and stylist, I know this is a perfect compliment to a portrait session- when you feel confident about your image, it shows. 

Lifestyle Portraiture

A day in the life... A portrait session in the context of your family home or other beloved location is a great way to document an important chapter. These are my favorite sessions to create coffee table albums of! What a treasure to snuggle up with those not-so-little-anymore kiddos and revisit that day.

Professional profile Update

Time to refresh your professional head shot? We book an hour, spending the first half of the session choosing the best backdrop and looks so that your portraits reflect your professional direction, go over wardrobe choices, and do light retouching of hair and make up if needed. We spend about 30 mins focused on portraits. Please arrive camera ready. Look forward to receiving 3 downloadable retouched images in a gallery. Images are both social platform and print optimized.

Sessions start at $150.

Portrait session with prints

Having printed portraits is one thing we all share in common. Snapshots in a shoebox, formal studio portraits of family on the wall...remember wallet prints? I wouldn't be a proper photographer if I didn't profess my love of prints. Art prints are available in a velvet matte finish or a pearl lustre finish. Color or B&W. 

Sessions are 2 hours, hair and make up is available for an additional fee. Wardrobe and styling consultations can be scheduled over Skype. We'll talk about the best location for our session to provide the right feel to the finished portraits.

These fine art albums are hand bound, with the best materials, by a company in Bend, Oregon. An excellent choice for "day in the life" family sessions, as well as boudoir portraiture, with many size and cover options to choose from. Album design is collaborative, a truly custom book is created by you and me via online proofing. 

These are the same albums I trust for my wedding photography clients, made to last and be enjoyed for decades.
